During the early eighties Jan Magnusson designed his first Janfire System "Jet" wood pellet burner, developed in the local school boiler house the wood pellet burner took shape during weekends and summer holidays with the exciting result of producing the worlds first commercial size pellet burner in Amal, Sweden. Jan and his development staff focused for 10 years on the System "jet" before introducing their first domestic burner the, Flex "A" system, designed for retrofitting onto existing domestic oil boilers.

Today Janfire have manufactured over 25,000 wood pellet burners, all mainly operational in Scandinavia and taking into consideration Janfires potential to export to the rest of Europe has lead Janfire to co-operate with Nuergy energytec to develop the market here in the UK.

Through positive market development both Janfire & NUERGY energytec aim to provide the UK & Ireland with a range of highly efficient wood pellet heating systems for domestic and large scale buildings.

Janfire produce three domestic boilers from 16kW to 40kw and a complete range of commercial boilers from 40kW to 1.8MW. the two types of burner systems manufactured both have decarbonising features designed to combust and consume low grade pellets and thanks to Jan's auto cleaning system we are very successfully doing that.
