Pellets combust in a Co2 neutral way, with barely traceable emissions resulting in efficiency of over 90%.
The Twist 80-20 boiler stove has fully automatic self igniting and stoking functions, is thermostatically controlled and includes an onboard wood pellet fuel hopper of 40kg capacity, providing heating for 2 to 3 days before requiring cleaning and topping up.
The Twist’s maximum heat output capacity is 10kw, split 80% heat distribution through the central heating system and 20% radiant heat into the room. The system’s heat out put is optimised during off peak periods by storing heat in a thermal storage tank for domestic hot water supply and for central heating back-up, when the heat demand from the house is in excess of 10kW, the boiler heat output is topped up from the thermal storage tank providing a combined output of up to approximately 16kW. During off peak periods the stove automatically modulates down to 3kw output, providing a radiant heat output of only 0.6kW, enough to take the chill from the room during the early morning and evening domestic hot water charging periods, when the target temperature is achieved the stove extinguishes and maintains standby mode until heat is required again.
Simple and easy to install
Installation is made simple as the boiler stove comes ready equipped with a central heating pump and expansion cylinder for connection directly to your existing central heating system, both vented and pressurised systems can be accommodated.
The chimney flue installation is that of a solid fuel class 1 type flue, connected on the rear of the stove and directed through the wall and up over the eves of the house or through an existing chimney. Both flues must comply with your local building control regulations as is with the location and positioning, on or beside combustible and non-combustible materials.
Room ventilation is a statutory requirement when using a solid fuel appliance, the Twist’s combustion air is ducted from an external vent into the boiler stove, and the room is vented through a vent specifically dimensioned in relation to the output capacity of the appliance.
The Twists neutral, yet modern appearance is pleasing to the eye and very appreciative in most British households. The side panel colour is interchangeable and comes in 3 three options, black, red and blue.
