Weobley school in Herefordshire, UK is helping to raise the profile and promote the credibility of wood as a fuel with its 350 kW wood fired boiler demonstration project.

Assisting sustainable development and stimulating rural employment are the twin objectives of the scheme which incorporates a heating system fuelled by locally grown wood, high standards of energy efficiency and the use of local building materials whenever feasible.
