WOOD PELLET DISTRIBUTION FOR NORTH SCOTLAND

Munro Engineering of Rafford, Forres in Morayshire have taken delivery of 60 tonnes of quality Norsk wood pellet.

Munros in cooperation with Mercs energytec aim to distribute the pellet in 700kg bulk bags or in 12 kg sacks stacked on a 1 tonne pallet. Initially the pellet is being offered direct to the public and it is hoped pellet will be available from local retail stockists in the near future.

James and Fiona Munro discovered wood pellet 5 years ago while on holiday in Canada and finding the pellet stove experience totally captivating, especially the natural ambiance of the real flame, the cleanliness and automation of stoking. Fiona continues " Now ! I really couldn’t turn the clock back to manually feeding a log stove" the Calimax stove looks after its self" Controlled via a room temperature thermostat it maintains a constant warmth 24/7 all winter and if required in summer too. The Calimax can be set to a maximum heating output of 10kw or turned down to a minimum output of just 3.5kw.

Munro's in cooperation with Mercs energytec are currently looking to set up both trade and retail outlets for the sale of domestic wood pellet, pellet stoves and central heating boilers.
